Meet Lincoln & Grant: 4 Days, 3 Nights

Travel back in time to discover the NEW Gettysburg. Visit the Gettysburg National Military Park, with monuments, cannons and a battlefield shrine to the Union and Confederate soldiers who fought here.

Day 1: Travel to Gettysburg on board the Outer Banks Beach Bus where you will visit the "NEW" American Civil War Museum for visual orientation of the war & the Battle of Gettysburg. Then travel to the "NEW" Courtyard by Marriot where you will check in for your three nights lodging. Everyone is invited to the Hotel's Welcome Reception with General & Mrs. Ulysses S. Grant. Enjoy dinner at Hickory Ridge Farm and we'll take time to see the Antique Kitchen Implements and visit the Craft Shop.

Day 2: After a delicious hotel breakfast we will set out to see the "NEW" Fields of Freedom Movie. Then we will take the incredibly guided Gettysburg Battlefield Tour. Afterwards, we will travel to Boyd's Bear Country where you will have lunch on your own and have shopping time in Downtown Gettysburg. Later in the evening we will have dinner and a show at the Allenberry Playhouse.

Day 3: Start the day with the "NEW" Guided Town Walk and a visit to the Civil War Chapel. Enjoy lunch in a Civil War Camp with a Soldier Presentation. Take a visit to the Jenny Wade House and the Shriver House. We will then tour the "NEW" Gettysburg Museum and Visitors Center and see the movie "A New Birth of Freedom". Dinner will be with President Lincoln at the Bobbin House Tavern.

Day 4: Take a tour of the Eisenhowers Farm before we depart for home.
